            the world.   He has a heart for evangelism and reaching  the lost. 

FAMILY INFORMATION

Married  his wife Vikki, September 23, 1989

Vikki is supportive of his ministry, teaches Sunday School, involved in women’s and children’s ministry, sings in the choir and is a soloist.

Children: 

            Malorie  (20), a student atUniversityofAlabamawhere she is majoring in

                        Elementary Education.

            Faith  (11),  a sixth-grade middle school student.

PASTORAL EXPERIENCE

Called to pastor Parkview Baptist Church, Tuscumbia, Alabama, in February, 1996 and served there fifteen years.  When called, the church had 50 members and a one million dollar debt.  Today the church runs 400-500 and is debt free.  He supervised a multiple staff for

Parkview Baptist Church.  The church has led its association of 75 churches in growth five o ut of the last six years including 2010 when the church saw 96 additions. 

He now is Senior Pastor at Dotson Memorial Baptist Church in Maryville, TN.  His major focus is preaching and pastoral care.
